Aadat Gharti Magar
Five year old Aadat is from the Mustang district of Nepal along the border with Tibet. He lives in a remote, traditional village with his single mother and two siblings. Due to the challenges of his family situation, Aadat attends school sporadically and lacks the opportunity for supported at home study time. The Kailash evaluation team found Aadat to be an engaging and intelligent little boy, and his mother expressed a great desire for him to have the opportunity for more consistent education.
Now, thanks to HYF and your support, Aadat is ready to start a new chapter at Kailash Home, where he will attend school daily, receive academic tutoring and support, and experience a life filled with new opportunities. He will have the choice of where his story goes and will be able one day to give back to his family and village too.
