Looking to the Future

For over two decades Himalayan Youth Foundation has stood proudly on a foundation of transparency, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to the children of the Himalayas. Through every season of our organization and each successive class of Kailash Kids, our achievement has always been driven by the strength and support of our global community, especially our Donors & Sponsors. It is in that spirit of partnership that we wanted to share directly with you an important update regarding our leadership, and the future of HYF.

After eight months of collaboration with Susanne Wilson, in the newly formed role of HYF Executive Director, we recently made the decision to end our affiliation. We appreciate the energy and passion Susanne brought to the work of HYF and wish her the very best in whatever the future holds.

Leadership transitions are a natural part of an organization's growth, and our main priority, as always, remains the support and fostering of all of the children of Kailash. With that in mind, we are actively evaluating options for the future that will best align with that focus moving forward.

Your trust is our most valuable asset, and because of your dedication, we have achieved remarkable milestones together. We are incredibly proud of the immediate and immensely generous way in which our HYF community responded to the recent flooding disaster in Nepal, and we look forward to continuing our vital work alongside you.
